Starboyz script

·     Hello SETNEW24/7 Over here, we are in Kilburn where star boys is located

·      This is the venue where josh would like to get their haircut; this is their first time going and are excited to get their haircut because they have heard good stuff about them

·      Here is our first client Joshua

·      The hairstyle that josh is after is a skin fade at the sides and level 2 at the top so that you can see his waves.

·      360 waves is a popular hairstyle among the people of African and Caribbean heritage.  It requires a lot of time and effort to get as it consists of strenuous brushing of low hair in an attempt to elongate curls that black people have.

·      This links to the statistics that we have researched about the popularity of the hairstyles in the African/Caribbean society:

·      360 waves or waves at the top right now out what people in London out of a rough estimate of the percentage if London was full of 100 people: 45% of people go for this hairstyle.

·      A fade with twists at the top trend at 15%

·      A high top is trending at 5%

·      S curls are trending at 15%

·      And finally plaits such as dreadlock, cane rows, etcetera trend at  20%

·      Star boys has been around Kilburn for 8 years now since 2010 and have moved around the area twice

·      Most of their clients consist of African, Caribbean and Asian people, more west Asian than east.
